Throughout January, Tom Kruse the Outback Mailman and his truck ‘The Badger’ will feature in a unique storybook trail designed for children, families and carers. With a map and a path to discover, participants will enjoy exploring the Museum grounds to locate pages of the illustrated children’s storybook ‘Tom the Outback Mailman’

Learn about Tom’s adventures and expeditions while delivering mail to South Australian towns far and wide during the 1950s. Complete the trail and collect a free Tom the Outback Mailman bookmark!

Tom Kruse’s Leyland Badger has been on many adventures, from the dusty plains of outback Australia to its now permanent home at the National Motor Museum in the Adelaide Hills township of Birdwood.
