The curtain raiser event for the Festival of Motorcycling SA is the Mill to Mill Poker Run.

Starting at Hart’s Mill Port Adelaide and visiting historic flour mills around the Adelaide Hills, riders collect a playing card from each stop, the last card for their hand is given to the riders once they reach the National Motor Museum the home of the last historic flour mill on their ride.
