Brilliant Birdwood! Santos Women’s Tour Downunder at the National Motor Museum

Free Museum Day + WTDU Stage One Finish = great fun day out!

The Adelaide Hills township of Birdwood and the National Motor Museum will be hosting the finish of Stage One of the Santos Women’s Tour Down Under on Thursday 10 January 2019.

Free Museum day! The National Motor Museum has reduced its admission prices to zero for the entire day on Thursday 10 January.

After the race has finished, the cyclists and their support teams will all be on the grounds of the Museum. Great opportunity to get up close to these elite sportswomen, watch the Stage One presentations on the presentation podium and check out the impressive operation of the Tour Down Under.

Birdwood community groups are also putting on traditional BBQ and other food and refreshments.

The race concludes at Birdwood from 1.45 pm.

Important! Road closures and detours will be in place around Birdwood during the day. The main visitor car park of the Museum will not be open to the public during the day, but visitors to the Museum and to the town for the TDU will have free all day parking on the Museum grounds with vehicle access via the Museum’s Church Street entrance and entry to the Museum from the grounds.
