Cashless payments only
We are only accepting cashless payments by card so please ensure you bring suitable payment options.
Contact details
We have been able to reopen our museum under the SA Government’s Emergency Management Direction for Public Activities. As a part of that Direction we are required to keep a record of the name and contact details of all visitors to the museum along with the date and time of their visit. This information is kept confidentially and, should we be notified of a possible COVID-19 exposure in the Museum, the records will be used by health authorities for contact tracing purposes. The information we collect is not allowed to be used for any purpose other than contact tracing. Under the Emergency Management Direction you can refuse to provide your name and/or contact details, in which case we will record the time and date of you and your group’s visit only.
During your visit
Please maintain 1.5m distance
We ask that you observe social distancing requirements and maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 metres between you and others.
Increased cleaning program
We have increased our cleaning program across our museum, particularly in high-touch areas or displays.
Maximum capacity
We will continue to comply with government regulations for the maximum number of people allowed within our museums and within individual rooms and galleries, and this may change over time. We ask you to observe the indicated maximum capacity of a space at all times.
Hygiene stations
We have installed hygiene stations around our museum for your use, particularly in areas with higher touch points. We encourage you to use these at any time.
Suggested paths
In some spaces and galleries, we have provided a suggested path through our exhibition to maintain the required social distancing. Please observe these paths if possible.
Training
Our visitor engagement team have been trained to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for our visitors. Please speak to them if you have any concerns or questions.
Hygienic practices
We ask that you continue to practice safe hygiene by washing hands thoroughly, using hand sanitiser where possible and please do not visit our museum if you are unwell.
COVIDSafe app
Please keep your family and community safe by downloading the Australian Government’s COVIDSafe app.
