This bus tour includes the heritage sites of TJ Richards, Chrysler Australia and later Mitsubishi Motors Australia in the greater Adelaide area. Motoring historian and author Gavin Farmer and curator Matthew Lombard will delve into the history of both the Richards family and the company from its inception through to its incorporation into the multinational empires of Chrysler and subsequent takeover by Mitsubishi Motors.

Holden Heritage Tour, an About Time History Festival event

This bus tour is a fascinating journey through the history of the Holden company in Adelaide led by Stewart Underwood and Matthew Lombard. Visit the site of Holden's early family enterprises in Adelaide including Rundle Mall, Gawler Place, Grenfell street and Kind William Place, followed by the Holden Family homes of Dequetville Terrace, North Adelaide and Toorak Gardens.  Also included on the tour are the former Holden plants at Beverley, Woodville and Birkenhead and the current plant at Elizabeth. NB does not include a tour of the plant.

This walk led by motoring historian Leon Mitchell celebrates the legacy of South Australian motoring pioneer Vivian Lewis, who was responsible for the first petrol-powered motor cycle and motor car constructed in South Australia. He went on to create what became Adelaide's most vibrant Motor House before the First War, with its customers drawn from Adelaide's most wealthy and influential families.
