What is it?
Rock & Roll Rendezvous is a day full of fun and entertainment for rock and rollers of all ages. With hundreds of classic vehicles, music and dancing, children's activities and the Fashions in the Field competition there is something for everyone. The event has its own Facebook page so check it out to see more photos of the day.
The National Motor Museum in the Adelaide Hills is home to the Rock & Roll Rendezvous, which happens each year in April. A day to celebrate all things from the Rock and Roll era – from fins and chrome to bobby socks and pony tails.
When is it?
In 2014 the Rock & Roll Rendezvous was held on Sunday 13 April from 10am to 5pm. Registered vehicles joined in the social breakfast at Torrens Parade Ground, Victoria Drive, Adelaide from 7.30am and cruised up to the Museum from 9am as part of the rock and roll fraternity for a fabulous day of entertainment.
The 2015 Rendezvous will be held on Sunday 12 April.
We thank our major sponsor Eastside Automotive who has been involved with the Rendezvous since 2007. Thank you also to our partners Shannons, Rock the Boat, The Retro Clothing Company and the SA Rock n Roll School of Dance for supporting the event, plus Coast FM for their coverage in the lead up to the big day.
Who do we support?
We are proud to be associated with the Down Syndrome Society of SA. The Rock & Roll Rendezvous has supported this as our charity since 2007.
